I am "hafu".(I have roots in both China and Japan.) Due to this background, I'm interested in the "borderlines" and "gazes" that attribute and categorize people based on culturally constructed criteria such as nationality, race, language, and family norms, as well as the small, personal "narratives" that have been recovered and overlooked by these symbols.Many of my works use poetic, realistic images to express poignant representations that incorporate own memories and body.

1999年東京生まれ。ハーフ/ミックスルーツである。この背景から、文化的に構築された国籍・人種・言語・家族規範といった、人々を属性付けカテゴライズする「境界線」 「眼差し」、あるいはこれらの記号に回収され、見過ごされてきたパーソナルで小さな「語り」に関心を持っている。作品の多くは、自分自身の記憶と身体を取り入れた切実さを伴う表象を、詩的な写実映像を用いて表現している。
